Our Board
The Farming Community Center is guided by a volunteer board made up of local community members who care deeply about the long-term health of this shared space. Our board is responsible for stewardship, transparency, and ensuring the center continues to serve the community in a sustainable and welcoming way.
Board members contribute their time, skills, and local knowledge to support daily operations, financial responsibility, facility care, and community partnerships. We work collaboratively, share leadership, and make decisions with the best interests of the community in mind.

Board Roles & Responsibilities
Board President
Provides leadership to the board, helps guide long-term direction, and ensures meetings and decisions support the mission of the Farming Community Center.
Secretary
Maintains accurate records, meeting notes, and board documentation to ensure transparency and continuity.
Treasurer
Oversees finances, tracks income and expenses, and helps ensure responsible use of community resources.
Facilities & Maintenance Lead
Oversees facility care, maintenance planning, and coordination related to the building and grounds.
Community Connections & Rental Management
Maintains relationships with community partners and tenants, supports room rentals, and ensures clear communication with organizations that use the space.
